This was a great, funny, and relatively short film about a really dysfunctional and delusional family who set out on a roadtrip to the Little Miss Sunshine Pagent. It’s particularly funny because it captures many of the emotional struggles, dreams and letdowns that every one of us experiences in a lifetime, but spread across an extended family in a roadtrip period of two days. I watched the movie on DVD with my sister, Sandy, Jonathan, Priscilla, and Brandon; we had great laughs.

The tagline of this movie should be: “Do what you want; [screw] everything else.” (PG version) Also, don’t enter beauty pagents, and don’t let grandpa teach your daughter how to dance.

After almost ten years of being dormant from the web authoring sceme, this holiday break has inspired me to pick up web writing again. There are so many good sites for inspiration, particularly ones dealing with photography– so many stories and gorgeous photos. I hope to be able to add tidbids to the general knowledge base we call “the internet/web.” After all, we’re all persons of the year for this reason, right?
